Growing Great: Inspiring Healthy Eating

Growing Great
Growing Great is a nonprofit nutrition education organization dedicated to inspiring children and adults to adopt healthy eating habits. Since 1999, GrowingGreat has provided comprehensive nutrition education and school garden programs to more than 20,000 elementary school students, their families and community partners.

GrowingGreat Schools
GrowingGreat Schools begins the collaborative circle. Classroom nutrition lessons, school gardens and farm-to-school food service program elements work synergistically to educate elementary school children about nutrition and healthy eating. All lessons support California Education Code nutrition requirements and Nutrition Competencies, as well as other state and school district grade level standards.
