Oklahoma Health Officials Launch Statewide Wellness Initiative

Oklahoma health officials on Friday launched a new statewide wellness program to promote healthy lifestyles among residents and improve the state's standing in national health rankings, the Oklahoma City Journal Record reports. The Strong and Healthy Oklahoma program offers residents a pocket-sized guide and Web-based tools developed to combat obesity, promote fitness and discourage tobacco use.
