Teenagers Hope Game Will Help Fight Obesity

FOR generations of Welsh children, the classic card game Top Trumps has been a popular staple in school yards across the nation.

But now, instead of the usual battles between turbo-charged cars or space rockets, a group of teenagers are hoping their version of the hit game could become a potent weapon in the fight against obesity.

Sixth form pupils at Tre-Gib School, Llandeilo, have developed a healthy eating version of Top Trumps – Chomp Trumps – which they hope will help educate younger children about the nutrition value of different foods.
