Education Gets Physical in Utah

Richard Simmons may be the new poster child for Utah educators as they continue to battle the childhood obesity problem.

Teachers are doing everything they can to get kids in shape.

Statewide, instructors are learning how to implement the freshly revamped elementary physical education core curriculum.

The Utah State Board of Education has spent three months now hashing out a proposal that would ban the sale of junk food on school campuses.
