Wisconsin Launches Six-Week Wellness Challenge

Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle (D) recently kicked off a six-week statewide wellness initiative challenging residents to adopt healthier lifestyle habits, the Madison Capital Times reports. Piggybacking on the national President's Fitness Challenge, the Governor's Challenge encourages adults to be physically active for at least 30 minutes five days per week and children ages 6 to 17 to be active for at least 60 minutes five days per week.
