Health Department Gets Grant Targeting Child Obesity

The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department was awarded a $75,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Health to help fight childhood obesity.

The grant is meant to help a community improve its environment to encourage physical activity by developing playgrounds and walking paths.
