The Highmark Foundation's Healthy High 5 School Challenge has awarded over $900,000 in grants to 130 Pennsylvania schools to support student wellness programs, the Fulton County News reports. The schools will use the grants to support programs that promote physical activity, nutrition and self-esteem among students. McConnellsburg High School, for example, will use a $9,310 grant to provide ongoing support for the school’s fitness center and offer before- and after-school programming.
