NIH Partners with Subway Restaurants on Childhood Obesity Prevention Initiative

Subway Restaurants has partnered with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to promote the agency's We Can! program, which aims to help children develop healthy nutrition and physical activity habits, 9news.com reports. Launched in June 2005, We Can!, which stands for Ways to Enhance Children's Activity & Nutrition, seeks to bring families and communities together to prevent overweight and obesity in children ages 8 to 13.
